Category: Comparisons
Compare the ATTACK SHARK R68 HE and X65 PRO HE rapid trigger keyboards: build quality, materials, latency, and which gamer each suits best.
Quick answer
Choose the R68 HE if you want a premium forged carbon fiber build and the lowest latency (0.08ms). Choose the X65 PRO HE if you prefer next-gen magnetic switches with a proven 8000Hz polling rate and a lower price.
Build quality and materials
The R68 HE uses a Forged Carbon Fiber Composite top case with CNC-machined aluminum accents, giving it a high-end, durable feel and a futuristic look. The X65 PRO HE focuses on performance materials but does not specify carbon fiber or CNC aluminum, so it may be less visually striking on the desk.
Latency and polling
Both keyboards claim an 8000Hz polling rate, but the R68 HE boasts a 0.08ms latency, while the X65 PRO HE lists a 128K ultra-high scan rate without a specific latency figure. For competitive gamers who need every millisecond, the R68 HE's lower latency is a clear advantage.
Switch technology
The X65 PRO HE features next-gen pre-lubed magnetic switches using Hall effect sensors for faster response and higher precision than traditional mechanical switches. The R68 HE does not specify its switch type, so if magnetic switch technology is a priority, the X65 PRO HE is the better choice.
