A detailed breakdown of the ATTACK SHARK R68 HE & R5 ULTRA Carbon Fiber Gaming Bundle, covering what's included, key features, and who it's best for.
Quick Answer
The ATTACK SHARK R68 HE & R5 ULTRA Carbon Fiber Gaming Bundle offers a premium, matching set of a compact Hall Effect keyboard and an ultra-light carbon fiber mouse, ideal for gamers who value a cohesive, durable setup with a futuristic aesthetic.
What Makes This Bundle Unique?
This bundle pairs two of Attack Shark's flagship products: the R68 HE keyboard and the R5 ULTRA mouse. Both feature carbon fiber construction, creating a cohesive look and feel that's rare in pre-built combos. The keyboard uses a forged carbon fiber top case and CNC aluminum accents, while the mouse is made from injection-molded carbon fiber for extreme lightness.
Who Should Consider This Bundle?
This bundle is a strong choice for competitive gamers who want a compact, high-performance keyboard and an ultra-light mouse without mixing brands or styles. The Hall Effect switches on the keyboard offer rapid trigger and adjustable actuation, which can be a real advantage in fast-paced FPS or fighting games. However, if you prefer a full-size keyboard with a numpad or a heavier mouse with more buttons, this bundle won't suit you.
Decision Rules for This Bundle
- Keyboard Size: The R68 HE is a compact 68-key layout. It lacks a function row, numpad, and dedicated arrow keys (though some are accessible via layers). Best for gamers who prioritize desk space and portability over dedicated keys.
- Switch Type: The keyboard uses Hall Effect (HE) magnetic switches. These allow for adjustable actuation points, rapid trigger, and customizable sensitivity. Ideal for players who want to fine-tune their key response for different games.
- Mouse Weight & Shape: The R5 ULTRA is an ultra-lightweight mouse made from carbon fiber. Its shape is symmetrical and ambidextrous, but it lacks side buttons on the right side. Great for claw or fingertip grip users; less ideal for palm grippers who prefer a heavier mouse.
- Build Consistency: Both devices share a carbon fiber theme, giving your setup a unified, premium appearance. A major advantage over buying mismatched peripherals.
